Kind of a sketchy hotel. Security was a question but you get what you pay for.

The family that is newly owning the place is very nice and understanding. I ended up having to call 911 for my buddy due to a medical reason. Cops, fire, paramedics showed up and he was taken to the hospital. They were understanding and sympathetic. The mom and dad do not speak the best English, so if you need to get into detail ask for their son. They do have a full sized kitchen which is nice, but be prepared to bring your own ice, plates and forks. I did some research, and the place used to be strictly a weekly motel.
Newly changed hands, and although overall pretty clean....between the oven and the fridge was kinda gross. I am not a neat freak so I just slid the fridge closer to the oven, but the top of the fridge did bother me. Though the inside was clean I could still see the top....didnt touch it. If you want more than a tiny bar of soap you need to get your own.

Conveniently located after arriving late in Phoenix. Pleasant owners.
Location was in a rough neighborhood. I did not feel confident when the reception desk was behind a barrier, although there were not incidents during the night that we stayed.
